Updated: Aug. 30, 2023 – The networks are gearing up for next television season and NBC fans can anticipate some fall staples sticking around unlike other networks whose strike proof schedules will see an absence of favorites.

Kicking things off during the week is a new season of The Voice and the freshman series The Irrational which stars The Flash alum Jesse L. Martin in the lead role. The program centers on world-renowned behavorial scientist Alec Mercer whose unique approach to comprehending human behavior is called upon to assist with high stakes cases involving law enforcement, businesses, and even the government.

Quantum Leap fans will notice this means the reboot/revival series has been moved to a different air date on the schedule. The series will be helping plug the hole left behind by the One Chicago shows which have been held until the midseason. Meaning Wednesdays will now feature reruns of the hit franchise’s episodes, Quantum Leap season 2, and Magnum P.I. season 5 Part 2 which was originally supposed to premiere in 2024.

Joining the fray is Found, a new series that follows a public relations specialist and her crisis management team who take on cases that often slip through the system. Over 600,000 people go missing in the United States every year and more than half are people of color, however, the latter are often forgotten about. The specialist and her team ensure that there is always someone looking into the cases involving these forgotten people. In fact, she herself was a person who fell through the cracks when she was missing. She also seems to be hiding a chilling secret as well.

The above series will run on Tuesdays. As for Thursdays, well, Law & Order fans thought they’d only be without Organized Crime in the fall since its 13-episode season was scheduled for the midseason but with productions delayed as the unions strike for a fair agreement, this has pushed the rest of the Law & Order franchise into 2024 as well. As such you’ll only be able to look forward to reruns on Thursday along with Transplant season 3 and Dateline NBC.

Held for the midseason Night Court, Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D., Law & Order and Law & Order: SVU, Law & Order: Organized Crime, Lopez vs. Lopez, La Brea, and Extended Family. .
