Well, well, well, Ted Lasso decided to follow the rules for the season (series?!) finale. All episodes of the Apple TV+ series were available to stream several hours before its official release time, but season 3 episode 12 took its sweet time and didn’t drop until the wee hours of the morning. We laughed, we cried, we had all the feelings! In this post, we’re going to hit pause on these feelings and focus on the Ted Lasso soundtrack. Which songs are in final episode of the beloved series?

Spoiler alert! If you have not yet watched the Ted Lasso season 3 finale, go stream it now on Apple TV+ before reading ahead. Though we won’t dive into any big reveals, we do tease and chat about a few story points.

Richmond, I miss you already! Ted Lasso will go down as one of the most brilliant series in history. And a fun soundtrack is part of the reason why. That said, forgive us if we get a little emotional  as we list the songs from season 3 episode 12 “So Long, Farewell.”

Ted Lasso soundtrack: Season 3 episode 12 song list

  • “So Long, Farewell” from The Sound of Music
  • “Shadows” by Future Islands Feat. Debbie Harry
  • “In Between Days” by The Cure
  • “Father and Son” by Cat Stevens
  • “Fight Test” by The Flaming Lips

I love the performance the Richmond guys put together for Ted and Beard. I have to say, not as fun to watch as when they danced to “Bye Bye Bye” by NSYNC, but definitely more emotional. As for the other songs, I love them all! But I’ll never listen to “Father and Son” or “Fight Fest” the same again.

Was this episode the season finale or the series finale? I’m going to assume it’s the latter. But fingers crossed we get a spinoff about Rebecca and Keeley’s women’s league. As soon as we learn more, we’ll update this post!
