How many episodes are in The Walking Dead: Dead City?

We have the return of the wildly popular series The Walking Dead with a spin-off featuring main TWD characters Maggie and Negan titled The Walking Dead: Dead City. We share with you what to expect from the series, including how many episodes and what time you can watch the show on AMC.

The Walking Dead: Dead City follows Maggie and Negan traveling to post-apocalyptic Manhattan in search of Hershel, Maggie’s kidnapped son. Along the way, they must combat a city filled with dead and people who have made New York City their own world full of anarchy. Eli Jorne, a co-executive producer on The Walking Dead, is the creator and the showrunner of the series.

Lauren Cohan and Jeffrey Dean Morgan are set to reprise their roles of Maggie and Negan from the original TV series. The show will also star Gaius Charles, Jonathan Higginbotham, Trey Santiago-Hudson, Michael Anthony, and Charlie Solis.

The Walking Dead: Dead City season one episode count

The season premieres on Sunday, June 18, at 9 p.m. ET, but those with AMC+ will be able to watch the show three days earlier on Thursday, June 15.

The series will release in a week-to-week format leading to the finale on July 23.  The episodes will be made available on AMC+ at the same time they premiere on the AMC network. There is a total of six episodes in the season, and each episode runs between 40-45 minutes long. Will you be watching?
