Crime Scene Kitchen has proven to bring a fun and different twist to the many reality baking competition shows out there! Getting through each round is certainly no easy feat as the bakers only have a few clues to go off of when recreating the sweet treats. But, there are those who are talented enough to get to the end. The series pits classically trained bakers against those who are self taught, with everyone competing in teams of two. Not only do the contestants have a mystery to solve and recreate that dessert, but they also need to impress judges Joel McHale, Yolanda Gampp, and Curtis Stone with the look and taste of it too for the chance to win the $100,000 prize.

The winners of Crime Scene Kitchen season 1 are friends Luis & Natalie from Las Vegas. The duo are classically trained pastry chefs, which gave them an advantage during the competition. Luis Flores and Natalie Collins-Fish were able to beat the other two teams with their winning birthday cake. The two previously said if they win, they would use the money to open up their own bakery in Las Vegas.

Based on Instagram posts on both Luis and Natalie‘s pages, the two are still doing what they do best and baking away! Natalie also has her own website, Cake Lyfe by Nattie J. According to the site, she hasn’t opened a physical location in Vegas just yet, but is working on it. Hopefully that comes together soon!

Crime Scene Kitchen season 2 airs Monday nights at 9 p.m. ET on FOX. Episodes are available to stream the next day on Hulu.
