V.C. Andrews’ Dawn cast: Who’s in the Lifetime movie series?

Another V.C. Andrews event is set to take over Saturday nights on Lifetime. Last year, Flowers in the Attic: The Origin held down the month of July with its twisted tale of how Olivia Winfield became the cruel woman who locked her grandchildren in the attic of her home. Now it’s Dawn‘s turn to bring a sense of foreboding to all who watch the film series.

Based on the Dawn Cutler books, this four week event follows the life of the eponymous character just as a secret her family had been harboring comes to light. She’d been under the impression that she was a Longchamp, but in a shocking reveal, our teen lead learns that she’d actually been born a Cutler. The wealthy, well-to-do family take her in after this revelation but it doesn’t mean she’s accepted.

Repeatedly referred to as Eugenia instead of the name she’d been given, Dawn has to contend with the wicked ways of her grandmother, Lillian, whose authoritarian means of child rearing include cruel punishments whenever she feels her young charge disobeyed her orders. Living in this oppressive household causes Dawn to  do what she can to hold onto her sense of self.

In doing so, however, she also comes to learn that a curse looms over the Culters and that they have dark, terrible secrets of their own that they’re hiding. Who’s a part of the cast for these films? Here’s what we know!
