Barbie movie soundtrack: Where to buy all Barbie the Album vinyl records

The Barbie movie is about to take the world by storm. It’s been the talk of the summer and, now that it’s hit theaters, everyone is going to be referencing the film and its commentary for months to come. But it’s not only the satirical nature of the Greta Gerwig flick that’s bound to have people hooked, it’s the tracklist as well. Barbie the Album is sure to make waves as fans go searching for the tunes that make up the movie’s soundtrack.
Because the film is wrapped up in nostalgia and takes a look back in time to the decades that the iconic Barbie doll and her companions, including her boyfriend Ken, have been a part of, the soundtrack is available in CD and cassette form. There’s also a Hot Pink vinyl that collector’s can add to their shelves. But the best part of these music merch offerings are the store exclusive versions of the vinyl record. All Barbie the Album Vinyl records
All of the vinyl records available for purchase have the same cover featuring Margot Robbie posed as Barbie in the doll’s iconic white and black striped bathing suit paired with white sunglasses. They also all have the same album sleeve with Barbie and Ryan Gosling’s Ken photographed on a big pink ‘B’. These are 12″ albums from Atlantic Records.

Barbie the Album Hot Pink Vinyl
This version of the record is available for purchase on the Barbie the Album store for $24.98.
This is a hot pink vinyl that includes a 12×24 poster of a Barbie scene were the doll is looking through a pink mirror rested on her vanity. It also shows some of her Dreamhouse as she smiles in frame while holding an oversized brush.
Barbie the Album Target Exclusive Candy Floss Pink Vinyl
The Target Exclusive is $27.99 when purchased online. It comes with the same 12×24 poster as the Hot Pink vinyl. The difference between the two records are their colors. This version has a bright pink hue reminiscent of cotton candy hence its name, the Candy Floss Pink vinyl.
Barbie the Album Walmart Exclusive Clear Pink Splatter Vinyl
The Walmart Exclusive costs $26.97 online. The vinyl is clear with hot pink and candy floss pink splatters. It comes with a poster of Margot Robbie as Barbie that’s exclusive to the Walmart edition of the album.
The image is the first one that was released for the movie and features the doll in a blue and white striped halter top with a matching bracelet and polka dot headband. She’s sitting in her iconic pink convertible and smiling.
Barbie the Album Barnes & Noble Exclusive Cotton Candy Vinyl
Outside of its pink cotton candy color, the Barnes & Noble exclusive vinyl is the same as those mentioned above with exception to the Walmart exclusive. It includes the same 12×24 poster of Barbie sitting before her mirror. The album costs $29.99
Barbie the Album Amazon Exclusive Milky Clear Vinyl
Unlike the other exclusive vinyls for the album, Amazon’s “milky clear” version is see-through and drained of the iconic doll’s signature color. But, it still makes a statement.
This exclusive also includes a poster that you can’t get with the other records. The image is of Barbie in her black and white bathing suit as she stands like a monument before little girls staring up at her in awe while in a barren, sci-fi dystopian like setting which was shown in the first teaser for the movie. The record is $27.98.
Barbie the Album Limited Edition White Vinyl
This exclusive, available on the Barbie the Album store, is $24.98. Unlike the Milky Clear record exclusive to Amazon, this record is an opaque white that’s a stark contrast to the other albums available. Its poster, however, is the standard shot of Barbie all the other records have besides the Walmart and Amazon exclusives.
Barbie the Album Embossed Limited Edition Sky Blue Vinyl
The Sky Blue vinyl is an outside of the U.S. exclusive available on the European version of the Barbie the Album store. Besides the brilliant blue hue of its record, this version of the album doesn’t feature Margot Robbie’s Barbie on the cover. Instead, it has an embossed version of the artwork used for the digital copy of the soundtrack, a hot pink stylized letter ‘B’. The album costs € 29.99, which is $33.37 in U.S. dollars, and it includes the standard 12×24 Barbie poster for vinyls.
Barbie the Album Hot Topic Exclusive Pink Bloom Vinyl
Hot Topic’s version of the album is already out of stock, clearly showing its one of the most beloved of the vinyls. Though it doesn’t include a poster exclusive to its version–it’s the same 12×24 of Barbie in front of the mirror–the album is a gorgeous frosted white with a riot of hot pink color that explodes across the vinyl. It costs $27.90.
Barbie the Album Urban Outfitters Neon Pink Vinyl
Urban Outfitter’s exclusive album is no longer available to purchase on the site. We can’t even link you to the Neon Pink version of the vinyl because it has sold out. The record is a beautiful florescent fuchsia pink, if you want to get this one, you’ll have to check resellers.
