The excitement for Law and Order season 23 is building to an absolute peak! And if you’re anything like us, you’ve been anxiously awaiting the return of this beloved crime drama. So if you’re hungry for some juicy details, you’re in luck, for we’re about to reveal everything we know about the upcoming season, including the latest updates and more!

So, let’s dive into all the tantalizing details we currently have about the upcoming Law and Order season 23.

Law and Order season 23 release delays

The 2023 writer’s strike has undeniably taken a toll on the release dates of many movies and TV shows, and it seems like Law and Order, along with its popular spin-offs, won’t be making its anticipated return to our screens this fall, as we had hoped.

According to Daily Express U.S., the delay is due to the ongoing WGA and SAG-AFTRA writers’ strikes, which have been impacting the industry for the past two-and-a-half months. Unfortunately, this means we’ll have to wait a little longer to see new episodes of our favorite legal drama.

Instead, NBC will air re-runs of Law and Order every Thursday from October 5, followed by the third season of the Canadian medical drama Transplant.

Is there a Law and Order season 23 release date?

Unfortunately, no! As of late July 2023, we are still eagerly awaiting an official release date for Law and Order season 23. Excitement for the new season has been building since the series was officially renewed in April 2023, alongside Law & Order: Organized Crime and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

However, due to the 2023 writer’s strike, it appears that we might have to wait until 2024 for the release of the new season.

Although the exact premiere date is still under wraps, rest assured that the new season of your favorite show will make its return, thanks to NBC.

As soon as the release date is announced, we’ll make sure to update you with all the latest details.

What’s next in Law and Order season 23?

As of July 2023, we don’t have any official plot details for Law & Order season 23. In the previous season, Jack McCoy had a tense encounter with his estranged daughter during a case, which left us all on the edge of our seats. So, it’s natural to be excited about what the upcoming season could bring.

We know that viewers are eager to find out what’s in store for season 23, but, unfortunately, it’s NBC who holds the key to all the plot secrets, and we’re going to have to wait for their official announcement.
