The Summer I Turned Pretty: Is Finch College a real school?
Finch College is not a real school. It’s a fictional one made up for the show. If you want to get technical, there was one with that name that opened in 1900 and closed in 1976. That undergraduate college was for women in Manhattan, New York City.
But the Finch College we’re talking about in The Summer I Turned Pretty season 2 is fictional. Jeremiah is going to be attending the school in the fall, and it seems like Belly is also on board as she describes interest in heading over there. We’ll see what she ultimately decides!
Mr. Conrad Fisher on the other hand is attending real-life schools that exist. He’s going to Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. But, he’s thinking about transferring to Stanford in California. It’s his and his mom’s dream school, but he’s torn about leaving Jeremiah after their mother, Susannah, died due to her cancer returning.
The Summer I Turned Pretty season 2 releases new episodes Fridays on Prime Video. The finale streams Aug. 18, 2023.
