The Chi season 6 cast: Who stars in the new season?

The Chi season 6 takes us back to the Windy City and into the lives of our favorite group of characters living in the South Side of Chicago. The sixth season is now streaming on Paramount+, and will make its debut Sunday, Aug. 6 on Showtime. Who are the cast members this time around?

While the previous five seasons were all a total of 10 episodes, season 6 is different. We’re getting way more! 16 to be exact. The first half will be released weekly until Friday, Sept. 22 on streaming and Sunday, Sept. 24 at 9 p.m. ET on television. Showtime has not announced a premiere date for the second half of the season yet.

The new season of the drama has many big changes for all the main characters coming. According to the synopsis, Emmett and Kiesha’s relationship is tested as both focus on their respective careers, Douda has to deal with the aftermath of Q’s murder, Victor has his political ambitions to focus on, Jake starts a new business, and Papa starts falling for an older woman.

So we know the main cast members are returning based on the description. But who else will we see? We’ve got the answer for you below!

The series is created and executive produced by Lena Waithe, with actor and rapper Common taking on executive producing duties. Season 6 stars Jacob Latimore, Alex Hibbert, Yolanda Ross, Shamon Brown, Michael V. Epps, Birgundi Baker , Luke James, and Curtiss Cook. There’s also a big number of guest stars lined up.
