Outlander season 7 part 2 is not coming to Starz in 2023

Sassenachs! How are we feeling? What did we think of that Outlander season 7 midseason finale? There’s definitely a lot the drama threw at us and we’re all here for it!

The Frasers are out of the war, Claire, Jamie, and Young Ian are officially back in Scotland (wohoo!), and the stakes are higher than ever for Roger and Brianna as the MacKenzie patriarch and Buck MacKenzie have headed back in time to find Jemmy after Rob Cameron kidnapped him. We definitely can’t wait to see where the story is headed next. Unfortunately, that won’t be happening in 2023.

So when does the rest of the seventh season return? When will we see new episodes again? We’ve got the answer for you below!

Outlander season 7 comes back in 2024. Starz still hasn’t shared an official release date for season 7 part 2. That means we’re still going to have to wait for official news on when Outlander season 7 episode 9 airs. Hopefully it’s at the start of 2024. The delay in episodes is not due to the writers strike or the actors strike that’s been effecting Hollywood. Even before the strikes happened, Starz shared that it was splitting the season into two parts, with the second half coming in 2024 because it’s a long one.

There is a total of 16 episodes in Outlander season 7. We haven’t had such a big season since the very first! And if you remember, season 1 of the series was also split into two parts. I know it’s hard, but we’re just going to have to be patient, my friends.

Will Outlander season 7 be the final season?

Outlander season 7 is not the final season, but we do know when the show is coming to an end. And that will be the already confirmed season 8. The final season will have a total of 10 episodes. The tears have already begun!
