After the house united to take out Hisam last week, we knew this week’s Head of Household competition could be a game changer. We also knew this week’s HoH comp would be an intense one as the Big Brother Pressure Cooker comp returned for the first time in nearly 20 years!

While we knew there was no way this season’s Pressure Cooker HoH competition could come close to the legendary comp from Big Brother 6, it did provide for an exciting Sunday night episode. After 14 hours, America ended up throwing the competition to Cameron under the condition that he not nominate her or Cory for eviction this week.

At the Nomination Ceremony, Cameron honored his deal by keeping the pair off the block and taking a shot at another due in the house: Jag and Blue. Unlike last week, though, in which the HoH kept her target in the dark, Cameron has been direct in telling Jag that he is his target this week and that he should fight with all he has in the Power of Veto comp if he hopes to stay in the house.

We saw Jag pull out a win during last week’s PoV, so can he pull off a back-to-back win in order to pull himself off the block? Will Blue finally pick up her first competition win of the summer? Will Cameron’s target remain on Jag’s back if he wins, or might he pull off a backdoor plan if he wins Veto?

Needless to say, there were a lot of scenarios in play heading into the PoV comp but how did things ultimately play out?

Warning: Spoilers from the Week 4 Power of Veto competition ahead!

Who won Veto this week on Big Brother? (Week 4 updates)

Heading into the Power of Veto ceremony, we knew that Jag, Blue, and Cameron would be competing this week as the respective two nominees and Head of Household. The trio ended up being joined by Mecole, Jared, and Red, whose names were selected ahead of the competition giving us our six players for the week’s PoV.

During the Week 4 Power of Veto competition, it was Red who emerged victorious taking home the PoV and landing his first competition win of the season. Since Red is closely aligned with Cameron, the current HoH, it’s no surprise that they likely conferred together about the decision to use or not use the Power of Veto.

It’s always interesting when a player not on the block wins the PoV as you never know what they might choose. Unfortunately, the houseguests have been a bit predictable this summer so it’s likely of no surprise to learn that Red did not use the PoV this week.

This means heading into Thursday’s live eviction, the house will have to decide whether to send home Jag or Blue. While Jag might be Cameron’s bigger target over Blue, it’s going to be interesting to see where the house falls and whether we might finally get our first split vote of the summer.

We’ll find out for certain who will become the fourth houseguest evicted from the Big Brother house on Thursday night at 9/8c only on CBS!
