Ghosts Season 3 is not coming to CBS in September 2023

We know Ghosts Season 3 is going to happen. What we now really need to know is when we can get answers to our burning questions from Season 2.

With the way things ended in the Ghosts Season 2 finale, we have a lot of questions. The biggest is about whoever was “sucked off.” One ghost has left the Earthly plane forever, and Sam couldn’t see who it was. She will need to rush into the house for a roll call.

There are a lot of characters we don’t want to see leave. However, that ending will be a little anti-climactic if it isn’t one of the characters we’ve come to know and love over the last two seasons. Out of all of them, Alberta could be the most reasonable of choices purely from a storyline perspective. Is it possible that finding out who killed her has led to her being able to move on?

We need Ghosts Season 3 to find out, though. The question now is when that season will premiere, as it definitely isn’t on the list of September premieres like we’d hoped for.

When will Ghosts Season 3 premiere on CBS?

CBS had originally wanted to bring the show back in the fall. It’s not that this show is performing badly. It’s just been caught up in the strike action. Despite filming in Canada, it is still a SAG-AFTRA series, and so it has to abide by all the rules.

The series has now been pushed to the midseason. It’s unclear when in 2024 anything can come back. This will all depend on when filming can start up again, which all depends on when the strike action comes to an end.

There is some semi-good news, though. We won’t be completely without the comedy. Not only will we get reruns of the U.S. series, but the UK version, which this series was based on, will air on CBS in the fall.
