Kelce, a Prime Video documentary about Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, is streaming now on the platform. The near two hour doc is, at its core, about family and football; the two loves of Jason’s life. Viewers who tune into the film will get a look at the player’s time on the field and off during the 2022 season. But it’s not just about him.

The movie is about his wife Kylie, their two daughters, his father, his mother, his brother Travis, the team he’s dedicated to, and the city that he represents. For Jason, his place on the Eagles is about more than himself. It’s about representing Philly, giving his community something to believe in, to uplift them when times are hard. And to continue to show them that no matter how different you are, to keep striving to be yourself regardless of what the world thinks.

Kelce traverses the center’s season into the Super Bowl and then beyond it as he and Kylie welcome their newborn daughter, and he has to decide whether he’ll retire or sign on for another year to play during the 2023 season. By the end of the documentary, you can’t help but root for Jason, whatever decision he makes because it’s clear his purpose is to be a fighter and inspire that in those he comes across.

The closing credits features a mix of Eagles fans celebrating and exalting the team, but the final text is a dedication to Shannon M. Joyce.
