Welcome to Wrexham season 2 release schedule: When do new episodes come out?

It’s the tale of two actors and a dream. Add in an underdog story to the mix, and we’re sold! Welcome to Wrexham season 2 is here, and we’re excited to see what’s next for Welsh soccer team Wrexham A.F.C. When do new episodes come out?

The docuseries first premiered in 2022, chronicling the purchase of the U.K. football club by actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney. Since then, it’s been a popular choice amongst viewers, as well as helped the sports team to earn even more support from their community. Wrexham A.F.C. is the third oldest professional football club in the world, so there’s a lot of history there!

In the second season, we pick up after the “painful elimination” in the playoffs we saw at the end of season 1 as the club tries to get back into the English Football League, per the synopsis. The team, its owners, and community still “hold on to the dream” that the club will find glory. Now, they also have to face “new-found challenges” that come with the small community gaining fame.

So how many episodes are there? When can we expect to see them this time around? We’ve got the answer for you below!

Welcome to Wrexham season 2 release schedule: When do new episodes come out?

Welcome to Wrexham season 2 premieres tonight, Sept. 12, 2023 at 10 p.m. ET on FX in the U.S. If you miss it on television, episodes will also be available to stream on Hulu the next day. For those of you watching from the United Kingdom and Ireland, the series will premiere Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2023 on Disney+.

FX hasn’t shared an exact episode count yet. Though season 1 was 18 episodes, so perhaps that’s how many we have in store this time around too. But we do know that only the premiere episode debuts on Sept. 12. Then going forward, two new installments will be released weekly on Tuesdays in the U.S. At least for now.
