A rom-com about two insomniac best friends? Sign us up! The new British comedy series, Still Up, is coming to Apple TV+ on Sept. 22, 2023. And it definitely has an interesting premise that puts a new spin on the romantic-comedy genre. So who are the actors playing the two sleepless besties?

The eight-episode show debuts with the first three episodes on premiere day. Then going forward, one new installment will be released weekly until the finale. The last episode comes out Friday, Oct. 27, 2023 on the streaming service.

The story is centered around Danny and Lisa, two best friends who bond through their insomnia. Both of them are up late at night, and keep each other company during the time everyone else is asleep. The two “have no secrets,” except for “their feelings for each other,” per the synopsis.

Still Up stars Craig Roberts as Danny and Antonia Thomas as Lisa. The actor is known for his roles as Oliver Tate Submarine and David Meyers in Red Oaks. The actress has played Alisha Daniels in Misfits, Evie Douglas in Lovesick, and U.S. viewers will know her most for portraying Dr. Claire Browne in The Good Doctor on ABC.
