Where can you stream Meg 2: The Trench after theaters?

Meg 2: The Trench is now out in theaters, but you want to watch it at home. Which streaming platform will you need for the action thriller?

If you loved the first shark movie, you’ll want to head to theaters for the second. Jason Statham is back as Jonas Taylor. This time, he’s taking a research team into the deepest depths of the ocean. Of course, like any movie that involves the depths of the ocean and sharks, there is a major situation that the team ends up having to deal with.

The voyage completely spirals out of control when a malevolent mining operation turns up. Now the crew has to deal with environmental plunderers and the colossal, prehistoric sharks, and now they need to outsmart and outswim everyone and everything around them.

Where to stream Meg 2: The Trench online

Like many other movies, this one will go from theaters to a streaming platform. The question now is where you can go to stream it after its run in theaters. Will Meg 2 head to Netflix? What about Hulu? Or Prime Video?

This is a Warner Bros. movie, which means it is heading to one streaming home at first. It will go to Max, the WarnerMedia Discovery streamer.

There is some good news if you have Prime Video. You can avoid Max’s temperamental user interface by getting Max on Prime Video Channels.

It won’t remain on Max. We see a lot of Warner Bros. movies head to other platforms after a few years. It’s not easy to say which one this one will head to, though. Max is the one that you want immediately, and we’re looking at it heading to Max within the next three to six months.

You’ll also be able to get the movie on Digital. That will mean buying it via Amazon Instant Video, iTunes, and more.
