Did you turn on your TV on Monday night expecting to see a brand new episode of Bachelor in Paradise season 9 only to be met with an NFL game or a completely different show that you had no idea what was about? Don’t worry, we’ve been there, especially since the ABC fall 2023 TV shows have received a schedule shake-up amid the newly-ended writers’ strike and ongoing actors’ strike, as well as the sports season. Thankfully, we’ve got all the information you need to know about the reality show’s episode release schedule so that you’re no longer in the dark!

Here’s when (and where) you can expect new episodes of Bachelor in Paradise season 9 to air!

Monday nights are out for The Bachelor franchise, while Thursday nights are in!

As of Sept. 28, new episodes of Bachelor in Paradise season 9 will release every Thursday night. Episodes will begin at approximately 9:00 p.m. ET and should end at 11:00 p.m. ET on ABC. The new dating show The Golden Bachelor also airs new episodes every Thursday earlier in the evenings, starting at 8:00 p.m. ET and ending at 9:00 p.m. ET.

If you’re someone who usually watches every episode of Paradise the next day on Hulu, expect these episodes to arrive every Friday. The same should go for your cable’s ON-Demand service, but be sure to check your service to know specifically when you can catch new episodes.

Bachelor in Paradise season 9 likely won’t move back to Monday nights

If you’re missing your Bachelor shows on Monday nights, we don’t blame you. It doesn’t feel the same not starting the week off with new episodes of our favorite reality franchise! That being said, ABC is the home to Monday Night Football, and the 2023-2024 NFL season doesn’t end until Feb. 2024 with the Super Bowl.

With Bachelor in Paradise typically having around 16 episodes a season, that would mean the show would end just before Feb. 2024. All this to say, it looks like this season will most likely remain a show that airs every Thursday unless we receive an unexpected schedule shake-up. (The same will likely go for The Golden Bachelor.) We really don’t see Monday Night Football on ABC changing because it’s such a staple for the network.

Now that you know a little bit more about Bachelor in Paradise season 9’s episode schedule, be sure to head to ABC every Thursday night to catch every second of the series.
