Quantum Leap is one of the shows returning this fall, and the first episode picks up off the back of the first season finale. When will it air?
It’s been a long summer, but one thing we knew we could look forward to was the return of Quantum Leap. The series started the writing and filming process as soon as the renewal came through, meaning that there were episodes ready as the strike action happened. NBC is using that to its advantage.
The trailer for the season gives us a look at a few of the time periods Ben will head to. We’ll see him in 1692 Salem, 1949 American where he mentions Area 51, and in 2050 where the end is near. Of course, there is one big question right now for this first episode: Where is Ben right now?
Ben was supposed to leap back home. We know that didn’t happen, but did the team leave him behind? What happened, and did Ziggy find him? That’s something to learn throughout the episode as we see Ben in a slightly more recent time period that some of the others in the trailer for the season.
When will the Quantum Leap Season 2 premiere air on NBC?
When can we expect the new episode? Tune in at 8 p.m. ET/PT tonight, Wednesday, Oct. 4.
Yes, the series was originally scheduled for slightly later, but NBC realized that starting the night with reruns was a bad idea. Quantum Leap kicks off the night instead.
You can watch the episode live on NBC with your cable, Fubo TV, Sling TV, and more. If you happen to miss the episode live, turn to Peacock the following day. All episodes head there to stream.
