Is Niall Horan married? (The Voice judge’s dating history)

NBC’s singing competition series The Voice is known for the ever-changing judges each season, and it works for the show. If there’s one coach that’s certainly been a happy addition, it’s Niall Horan! I think he’s one of the best coaches. What about you?

The former One Direction boy bandmate joined the show as coach in season 23, having had the chance to appear on the big, red, revolving chair with Blake Shelton before the country artist’s exit. Now in season 24, which premiered Sept. 25, 2023, Horan is back with returning coaches John Legend and Gwen Stefani, and newcomer Reba McEntire.

Since he came on board, some of you have been wondering just who he is, if he was ever a contestant on The Voice (he wasn’t, but he did gain fame thanks to The X Factor!), and whether the singer is in a serious relationship.

Niall Horan is not married, and has never tied the knot before either. Though as of early 2020, the handsome Irish singer-songwriter has been dating someone, indicating a serious relationship. Horan’s girlfriend is account manager Amelia Woolley. The 30-year-old himself is pretty private when it comes to his relationships. But the two made their first public appearance in 2021 at his charity gala, the Horan & Rose Gala, per PEOPLE. The couple is still together as of October 2023.

In June 2023, the artist shared that the love songs on his latest album, “The Show,” were written about Woolley. Aw! Isn’t that so sweet? The account manager currently works at Budweiser Brewing Group, but has also previously worked for multiple fashion brands like Dior.

The Voice judge’s dating history

Over the years, the star has had multiple brief relationships, and a couple more serious ones. The first we know of is Holly Scally, whom Horan had been dating when he auditioned on The X Factor in 2010, according to PEOPLE.

Another was Amy Green, a drama student who he seemed to be with in 2012. Neither of them confirmed their relationship. Later in 2015 they were spotted together again, but it’s not known how long they may have been dating.

Horan and model Zoe Whelan were briefly an item in March 2013, as well as model Barbara Palvin afterwards in December of that year. Though they were seen holding hands, a rep said the Horan and Palvin were “just friends,” PEOPLE shares.

Another interesting tie to the singer is Ellie Goulding in 2014, though the relationship didn’t go very far as the two just went on a few dates but remain friends. In 2015 he dated a student, Melissa Whitelaw, and another in 2016 who was Celine Helene. Both of the romances were short-lived.

The news outlet reports that in December 2015, Horan and Selena Gomez sparked dating rumors. Neither ever confirmed the alleged relationship. Though they were seen kissing, Gomez said she wasn’t seeing anyone. But the two are on good terms.

Niall Horan and Hailee Steinfeld

Based on what we know, it seems like the 29-year-old’s first long-term relationship was with actress and singer Hailee Steinfeld. In February 2018, they officially got together and dated for around 10 months, per the news outlet. They broke up in December 2018.

Today, Horan seems to be happy with his girlfriend Woolley and that of course makes us fans happy for them as well!
