With the summer and fall 2023 TV lineup full of game, competition, and reality shows, you’d think the networks and streamers have gotten through them all! But actually, there’s still more debuts happening. One of them is dating reality series FBoy Island season 3, set to premiere Monday, Oct. 16, 2023. But it’s not going to be on Max. Where is the show’s new home?

With the debut of the new season, we’re actually getting two episodes back-to-back! So be sure to tune in starting at 8 p.m. ET, and stay glued to your couch until 10 p.m. ET. Those of you who have been watching the show know that the series is a Max Original. That means the seasons used to stream on the platform. So why has that changed and where can you watch FBoy Island now?

In December 2022, Max canceled the dating reality production and started shopping it somewhere else. Since the Warner Bros. and Discovery merger that happened in April of that year, many Warner Bros. productions that had been already complete were scratched, and certain content like Westworld and others were quietly removed with no warning and sold to FAST channels. With these big changes happening, the status of shows, especially reality series’, were left in the air so to speak or jus canceled as part of the company’s cost-cutting strategy.

And so it seems like FBoy Island is no longer streaming on Max because the show was canceled by Warner Bros., removed from the streamer’s catalog in a cost-cutting effort, and for one more reason. The good news is that even though the reality series is no longer on Max, the show got picked up for a third season at The CW. And, the previous two seasons are available to stream for free on the network’s website. You just have to sit through ads while watching.

So one of the main reasons FBoy Island is no longer streaming on Max is because The CW is now streaming the series, and produced the new season. The network is now the show’s new home. For me, as long as FBoy Island is available for me to watch somewhere, I’m not going to complain!

Get ready for a sizzling FBoy Island season 3

FBoy Island season 3 premieres Monday, Oct. 16, 2023 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW. As mentioned above, episode 2 will also air on premiere day starting at 9 p.m. ET. New episodes of the show are available to stream the next day on Tuesdays on The CW website. And if you want to check out the first two seasons, both are currently streaming on the network as well!

The new season is once again hosted by comedian Nikki Glaser, who’s taken on the role since the first season. This time around we have three lovely ladies – former Bachelorette Katie Thurston, social media influencer Daniella Grace, and model Hali Okeowo – who are going to have to weed out the womanizers, aka FBoys, from those who are the nice, genuine men. 21 male contestants are there to either get their hands on the cash prize of $100,000, or genuinely want to find love just like the ladies. Will they be able to tell who’s there for love and who’s there for greed? Check out the trailer for the premiere below:

In episode 1, “This is Gonna Be a Good Season,” Katie, Daniella, and Hali are introduced to the group of 21 men, half of them are FBoys, and the other half are Nice Guys, per the synopsis. But whoever they are, all of them are determined to make a good first impression on the ladies.

In the second episode, “I Care Bro,” everyone jumps right into dating featuring “awkward make-outs” and even a “sexy striptease,” per the synopsis. Though when love is in the air, so is jealousy with so many men vying for the women. That leads to one contestant, Marco, to run his mouth “in all the wrong directions.” And so, let the drama begin!

FBoy Island season 3 premieres Monday, Oct. 16, 2023 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW, followed by episode 2 at 9 p.m. ET. New episodes are available to stream the next day on The CW.
