What time is the Frasier revival on CBS tonight? (Oct. 17, 2023)
Alright you guys, I’m not going to lie. I’m so excited that Paramount created the Frasier revival series! I know, I know. But it’s a reboot, those have been so repetitive over the years. Trust me, I’m in the same boat. I think production companies have gone overboard with the spin-offs and reboots over the years. But some of them, like The Conners and now the Frasier Crane series, are worth it!
The Frasier revival premieres tonight, Oct. 17, 2023 at 9:30 p.m. ET on CBS. The half-hour sitcom will actually broadcast the first two episodes. And so be sure you sty tuned and catch episode 2 at 10 p.m. ET. While this evening it’s being broadcast, the new show actually isn’t going to be airing on CBS every week throughout the whole season.
This is because it’s actually a Paramount+ Original and new episodes will come out on streaming. Tonight is just a special broadcast on CBS to celebrate the revival. The central character leaves behind his radio talk show days and is ready for the next stage in his life. Frasier moves back to Boston, Massachusetts where “new challenges,” relationships, and fulfilling some of his dreams await him, per the synopsis.
Episode 1, titled “The Good Father,” tells us that Fraiser’s father Martin has passed away, and he decides to come back to Boston for a college lecture. While there, it’s the perfect opportunity to also check up on his son Freddy (Jack Cutmore-Scott), who’s keeping a secret from his dad, per the synopsis.
Then in the second episode, “Moving In,” Frasier tries to reconnect with his son to “make up for lost time,” per the synopsis. However a small disagreement on where to place a small Red Sox souvenir grows into a bigger argument between father and son.
And finally to get you ready for episode 3 on Paramount+ Thursday, we have the title and description for the episode! “First Class” sees Frasier having to work hard to be taken seriously at his new job at the university, per the synopsis. Because after being a talk show host for two decades, the task isn’t so easy.
