Of course we’re excited that tomorrow is Halloween, but I’m going to be real with you. I’m definitely going to miss those fall vibes and all the fun and creativity that comes along with the spooky season. It’s almost time to say goodbye to the ghoulish time. And what better way to do that than with the Halloween Cookie Challenge season 2 finale tonight? Am I right?

The Halloween Cookie Challenge season 2 finale airs tonight, Oct. 30, 2023, at 10 p.m. ET on the Food Network. That means those of you in the Midwest can tune in at 9 p.m. CT, or west coasters get it a little early at 7 p.m. PT. If you miss it on TV, don’t you worry! The final episode of the season will also be streaming on Max and discovery+.

Why is the competition series available to watch online on two platforms? That’s because Max’s parent company, Warner Bros., and Discovery, which owns the Food Network, merged in 2022. And so now many, if not all, Discovery and discovery+ content is available to stream on Max if you have an account.

However, discovery+ has remained as its own streaming service as well as a more affordable alternative if you don’t want to pay for a Max account. There’s not always many options to watch our favorite shows, so this is definitely great news! Ready for the finale this evening? What can you expect to see? We’ve got the answers for you below!

What to expect from the Halloween Cookie Challenge season 2 finale tonight

The Halloween Cookie Challenge season 2 finale will feature a great and mysterious first challenge for the four bakers – the slice & bake cookie! On the outside, they’re made into a log shape and are ordinary, so you can be surprised with what’s inside what’s you slice into it. According to a promo of the episode, three different colored doughs need to be used.

Tonight, each competitor will be tasked with making a slice & bake cookie that has a Halloween image baked into it. They will be judged on how well it’s made and the design. Of course they only have 90 minutes to do it all! Who’s going to be up to the task?

Judges Duff Goldman and Rosanna Pansino will be deciding who’s creations they like the most. After all, it’s a $10,000 prize on the line. Goldman is a pastry chef, cookbook author, and has been part of many cooking and baking shows on the Food Network. Some of those include Ace of Cakes, Holiday Baking Championship, and Duff Takes the Cake. His fellow judge and co-host, Pansino, is a YouTuber and started out sharing her skills online. Her show on YouTube, Nerdy Nummies, has become popular. She teaches how to bake and create yummy cakes like The Little Mermaid, a robot, and Princess Peach.
