The Young and the Restless recap (Oct. 31): Mamie cuts ties with Tucker

On today’s episode of The Young and the Restless, Ashley took Mamie back to the Abbott mansion after they left Nate at the Genoa City Athletic Club. She told Mamie that the collapse of her remarriage to Tucker happened because she had never seen him so angry.

Mamie learned that her secret business partner, Tucker, was enraged because Ashley would not follow through on his hopes to co-found Simply Ashley with her. That upset Mamie, who is set to meet with Tucker to discuss the next step in their plan to push Jill out of Chancellor-Winters.

Nate met with Devon and Lily to inform them that he accidentally saw a text from Tucker on Mamie’s phone. Devon and Lily learn that Mamie plans to meet with Tucker.

What happened today on The Young and the Restless?

Kyle continued his meeting in Tucker’s suite at the GCAC, as he tried to convince him that he could be trusted. Audra stood by while Tucker attempted to determine if Kyle would betray his father, Jack, by helping him take control of Jabot. Devon interrupted the meeting, with Tucker lying about Kyle’s unusual presence. He was uncertain about Kyle providing an update about Ashley’s state of mind.

Tucker lied to Devon about getting together with Mamie, telling his biological son that he wants to seek her advice about restoring his relationship with him. Devon lashed out, called Tucker a liar and left. Mamie crossed paths with Devon after he left Tucker’s suite. He told her he knew about her meeting with his father and said he could not be trusted. Mamie agreed.

Tucker was told by Mamie that their business partnership is over. She still plans to force Jill out of CW but wants to do so without Tucker’s help. Kyle and Audra discussed Tucker’s connection with Mamie. Audra continued to gauge Kyle’s willingness to go against his family, with Kyle assuring her that he will.

Jack met with Billy at Crimson Lights. They discussed Jack’s concern about Ashley trying to convince Tucker she might be open to reconciling. Billy responded to Jack’s other concern, which is Kyle. Jack shared Kyle’s hopes of reclaiming his co-CEO title.

Billy reinforced Jack’s point that Kyle is not ready for that responsibility. He also told Jack that comparing him to Kyle is not right and he plans to remain in his job at Jabot.
