How many episodes are in NCIS: Sydney on CBS?
Joining NCIS, NCIS: New Orleans, NCIS: Hawaiʻi and NCIS: Los Angeles, the newest series to be added to this fan-favorite brand brings audiences down under to Australia. NCIS: Sydney may not have originally been intended to air on CBS in the United States this season, but because of the Writers Guild and Actors Guild strikes against the AMPTP’s unfair contracts causing production delays, NCIS: Sydney will now be joining the CBS line-up.
NCIS: Sydney is the first international edition of the hit franchise, and if you’re wondering how a United States Naval organization could also exist in Australia, the show’s premise explains that we’ll see a team of U.S. NCIS agents along with members of the Australian Federal Police (AFP). These agents will be “grafted into a multinational task force to keep naval crimes in check in the most contested patch of ocean on the planet.”
CBS has also revealed that agents from both of these teams must “quickly learn to trust each other, overcoming and harnessing their differences to solve each case.” The new drama series stars Olivia Swann, Todd Lasance, Sean Sagar, Tuuli Narkle, Mavournee Hazel, and William McInnes.
