After the success of the U.S. version of Ghosts, it’s time for Ghosts UK to get its linear airing on CBS. What time can you watch the first episodes?

Rose McIver’s version of Ghosts was an immediate hit with viewers. Situational comedies can be a little difficult to pull off at times for broadcast networks, but this one hit fans just right. That shouldn’t be surprising when it was based on the successful British comedy series of the same name.

Ghosts UK was available to stream on Max. However, now it’s time for the series to get its linear outing. That starts tonight, Thursday, Nov. 16, with the first two episodes airing. Yes, CBS will bring us two episodes per week. As with all British shows, this is a shorter season than the U.S. version, so it won’t take long to get through most of the seasons before the U.S. version comes back.

What to expect in Ghosts UK episodes 1 and 2

The first two episodes will introduce us to the characters, much like the U.S. version of the series. We follow Alison Cooper and her husband Mike as they inherit a manor via Alison’s father. The two decide to turn the manor into a hotel, which the spiritual inhabitants of the manor don’t like the idea of.

So, the ghosts decide to haunt the characters. That leads to Alison suffering an injury that almost kills her. After that, she starts to see ghosts, and there are some great members of the household for her to meet.

Some of the characters are extremely similar to the U.S. versions. Instead of a ’90s stock broker with no pants, it’s a Tory MP with no pants. The Lady of the Manor is one of the ghosts and she has a dark story about her husband, and there is a headless ghost. The headless ghost appears more frequently in the UK version, and yes, he’s a Tudor-era ghost.

When do the episodes of UK Ghosts air on CBS?

You’ll be able to check out the episodes tonight, Thursday, Nov. 16. The two episodes air back-to-back starting at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
