On Thursday, Nov. 16’s episode of The Young and the Restless, Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) arrived in Genoa City, where she met with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) joined the conversation and believed that Devon Hamilton Winters (Bryton James) should not be informed yet, but Lily disagreed. Viewers suspect the climax to the building storyline involving the plan to push her out of Chancellor-Winters is likely to soon come.

Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) and Mamie Johnson (Veronica Redd) were conspiring to oust Jill until Redd’s character recently exited the tandem. Abby Newman Abbott’s (Melissa Ordway) recent conversation with her mother, Ashley Abbott McCall (Eileen Davidson), allowed Tucker’s estranged wife to learn about his connection to Mamie. Ashley was bothered by Mamie’s involvement with Tucker but supported the intention of their efforts. Like the now-defunct duo, Ashley liked the idea of forcing Jill out of CW.

Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) decision to tell Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) he will not be part of a Jabot takeover plot is relayed to Tucker. He isn’t surprised by Kyle’s stance and predicts Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will try to convince Mealor’s character to try and play Tucker. Jill inserted herself into the conversation and blasted Tucker, who deflected by questioning why Walton’s character felt threatened.

What happened today on The Young and the Restless? (Nov. 16)

Part of Tucker’s prediction might begin to play out as Kyle told his mother, Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters), what he had been conspiring to do. Diane told Kyle not to tell Jack but to try and deceive Audra and Tucker, believing that he could bolster his cause to replace Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) if helpful intel about the Jabot takeover plan could be obtained. But St. John’s character is anticipating that move.

Meanwhile, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) escaped from the locked bedroom at the lake house and went downstairs. She attempted to call for help but was stopped by Claire Grace (Hayley Erin), who injected a needle into Nikki’s neck, took her back to the bedroom and hooked her up to an intravenous tube. Erin’s character railed about the Newman family deserving payback when Nikki pressed for answers before falling unconscious. Claire then sent a text asking for help to whoever her accomplice is, and Nikki had a delusion about Victor rescuing her.

The fallout between Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) continued with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) now included. Nick suggested that they follow their father’s advice and try to get along. Adam said he only wants to earn Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) trust.

While the Mustache waits for his offspring to hash out their differences, Victoria sought him out. She berated Victor for making Nick and Adam try to coerce her into accepting the new rules. Victor told Victoria that he thinks she will fall apart if he boots her from Newman Enterprises, which caused her to erupt and depart.
