Happy Turkey Day week to all of those who are celebrating. Also, Happy Black Friday to anyone out there ready to get those discounted goods. Like we do each and every week, we’re sharing all the best Netflix movies and shows debuting beginning the week of Nov. 20, 2023.

For those out there with a four-day workweek and looking for some recent Netflix titles to watch, here are a few of my favorites from the last few weeks. Colman Domingo starred in Rustin, David Fincher’s latest The Killer, and the documentary based on Sylvester Stallone, Sly.

New Netflix movies and shows to watch this week

  • Stamped From the Beginning, Nov. 20
  • Leo, Nov. 21
  • Squid Game – The Challenge, Nov. 22

The culture phenomenon from a few years ago is set to become a reality TV series that sees 456 players enter a competition with a chance at winning $4.56 million in Squid Game: The Challenge. I can’t say much other than that I’ve watched this and can’t wait for the world to see this show. It is super creative (using many of the games from the show) and wild to see how people act in certain moments of the show. The first five episodes will be released on the 22nd, with four more released on the 29th, followed by the finale on December 6th.

Are the kids home this week on Thanksgiving break? Well Netflix is ensuring they have something new and fresh to watch with their latest animated project, Leo. The animated musical comedy follows the story of a 74-year-old lizard named Leo who has been stuck in the same classroom for decades with his fellow terrarium-mate turtle. Adam Sandler voices Leo, while Bill Burr voices the turtle. This one promises to be fun.

From our suggestions, what will you be watching? Are you excited about Leo? Or will you be checking out Squid Game: The Challenge with me? Let us know, and let’s hope next week brings us more Netflix additions.
