Is Magnum P.I. on tonight? (Nov. 22, 2023)

It’s Wednesday, which means fans of the NBC action drama Magnum P.I. are expecting a brand new episode very soon!

It’s noted that NBC has become responsible for reviving some of tv’s most recognizable series and Magnum P.I. is one of them. It was reported that Magnum P.I. is currently in its fifth and final season with the Part 1 premiere airing on Feb. 19, 2023 and the finale airing on Apr. 23, 2023. Part 2 of Season 5 started airing on Oct. 4, 2023. In total, there will be ten episodes of the series set to air. So far, the remaining episodes will be airing during the last two months of 2023 and into  January 2024.

Last week, in episode 16, Magnum and Higgins agree to help a teenage Amish boy who has travelled to Hawaii in search of his runaway sister while Rick sets out to find TC a date to the Marine Corps Ball. This means viewers are awaiting what will happen with Magnum in the next episode. So, if you want to find out if Magnum P.I. is new tonight, keep reading to find out!

Is Magnum P.I. new tonight on NBC? (Nov. 22, 2023)

Magnum P.I. fans might be disappointed to hear that a new episode is not airing this week on its regularly scheduled day. In tonight’s slot, viewers can instead watch a collection of memorable and historic Thanksgiving-themed sketches from 47 seasons of Saturday Night Live in its annual Thanksgiving special. Due to the Thanksgiving holiday and the 91st Christmas Tree Lighting in Rockefeller Center special happening in the following week on Nov. 29, the newest episode is set to air on Dec. 6 at 9 pm ET. With the upcoming Dec. 6 episode, that would mark seven episodes having been aired on the network. In total, there are 10 episodes airing in the second half.

The official synopsis for Episode 17 airing on Dec. 6 episode is as follows:

"After a high-stakes homicide case falls apart at trial, Katsumoto asks Magnum to help him stop a killer from walking free; Higgins helps Jin Jeong with a mystery of his own.”"
