Sadly we won’t be getting a Thanksgiving-themed episode of Bob’s Burgers after the holiday which is unfortunate. Thankfully, we’re still getting a new episode.

On the whole, Season 14 has felt like such an interesting mix of episodes. In particular, I feel like everyone has been working with or around the Belcher family as we saw the return of Jimmy Pesto, Marshmallow, and now, Big Bob.

While Big Bob hasn’t disappeared, he only comes around sparingly so it’s nice to be able to see him and usually, he shares a tidbit of info we don’t know about Bob or the family in general.

Regardless if you haven’t watched “Wharf, Me Worry?” then this is your spoiler warning as we’ll be discussing the entire plot of the episode below.

Here’s what happened on “Wharf, Me Worry?” on Bob’s Burgers.

The episode begins with the kids getting excited to hang out with Big Bob and Bob is nervous he’ll share his paranoid thoughts with the kids. They show up at Wonder Wharf and see a talking clam that shares your future. Big Bob sends the kids off so he can take a break and they figure out the secret behind the giant clam.

Meanwhile, at the restaurant, Teddy comes in and asks Bob and Linda to take a picture of him for his handyman app. While the kids are playing around with the clam, they don’t realize they got locked in and it doesn’t matter until someone wakes up Big Bob from his nap and Bob calls to check on them.

The two decide to go look for the kids and stop for a break to win a gorilla for the kids. They also decide to get on the Ferris wheel and the kids finally realize they’re locked in so they try to get help from people at the Wharf. Bob and Big Bob decide to split up to look for the kids and Bob finds them after hearing them talk on the mic.

Bob tries to wedge something in the door to open it and he’s able to get them out while Linda gets a great picture of Teddy eating a burger. Bob explains that he thinks Big Bob is too dark and the kids explain he acts the same way. Bob eventually gets his chance to tell Big Bob how he feels and they have a moment. The episode ends with Bob leaving the kids and having them go back to Big Bob alone.

”Wharf, Me Worry?” was a downright bonkers yet adorable episode.

Thus far, Season 14 of Bob’s Burgers has been full of hidden gems. In particular, the series has relied a lot on characters we haven’t heard from in a while. “Wharf, Me Worry?” has easily been one of the best as it focused on Big Bob in the best way.

It’s nice to see Big Bob and the kids spend time together. It was also nice to see Bob and his father bonding. The bonkers part was the kids getting locked in which would only happen to them and Linda trying to take a good picture of Teddy. Plus Big Bob carrying around that gorilla was just the icing on the cake. Regardless, everything just seemed to mesh together so well and made for such an enjoyable episode.

While it’s sad to not be enjoying a Thanksgiving episode this year, it’s awesome to see the family spending some time together.

Bob’s Burgers airs on Sundays on Fox at 9/8c.
