It’s another Wednesday, and that means we’re ready for a new episode of Quantum Leap. What’s going on with the NBC schedule this week?
One thing we’re certainly ready for is a new episode of Quantum Leap. We already know the time period Ben is heading back to, and it’s going to bring up a lot of talk about oppression in the 17th century. Ben will find himself in the middle of a witch trial in Salem, 1692.
Eyes are on when that episode will air, though. The bad news is that we won’t get to watch it tonight, Wednesday, Nov. 29.
Taking some time off from new episodes this time of year is pretty normal for NBC. There are a few specials to get through, and tonight, it’s all about the annual Rockefeller concert. It’s the 91st year, and this tends to air on NBC each year. That takes up two hours with Christmas at Graceland airing in the last timeslot of the night.
When will Quantum Leap Season 2, Episode 7 air?
So, how long do we need to wait for the new episode? There is some great news. We’ll see the witch trials take place on Wednesday, Dec. 6. The new episode will air at the usual time of 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. You can catch up on Peacock the following day.
This is going to be the midseason finale. Like many other shows, Quantum Leap was affected by the dual strikes this summer. There were enough episodes written to film during the first part of the writers strike, but the actors strike put everything on hold. Production can start back up again, so we will get new episodes soon.
There isn’t a return date set just yet. The show was missing from NBC’s January lineup. That’s not too surprising as the network has a lot of scripted content to bring back in January. Hopefully, we’ll see the show return in March or April.
Quantum Leap is available to stream on Peacock.
