Teddy’s Christmas starring Zachary Levi as the voice of the titular role is now playing in theaters in the U.S.! The Norwegian film is here just in time as one way to celebrate the Christmas holiday. The film focuses on 8-year-old Mariann who sees an alive Teddy at a carnival game booth. But when someone else wins the cuddly bear, Teddy is adamant on making his way back to Mariann.

Zachary Levi as Teddy

In the English dubbed version of the movie, Zachary Levi voices the titular character Teddy! The actor is best known for his roles as Chuck Bartowski in Chuck, Flynn Rider in Tangled, Fandral in the Thor movies, and William “Billy” Batson/Shazam in Shazam!.

Marte Klerck-Nilssen as Mariann

Marte Klerck-Nilssen is the adorable youngster who plays 8-year-old Mariann, the young girl who forms a connection with Teddy. Based on her IMDB profile, this is the young actress’ first acting role.

Norwegian actor Jan Gunnar Røise takes on the role of Roger. The talent mainly does theatre work, but has also appeared in films like Hawaii, Oslo, Gymnaslærer Pedersen, The Thing, and Fenris.

Mariann Hole as Hilma, Mariann’s mom

Also mainly a theatre actress, Mariann Hole plays Mariann’s mom Hilma. Her first stage role was as Ophelia in Hamlet, Helene in Orphans at Torshovteatret, Lulu, The Half Brother, and Made in Oslo.

Nader Khademi as Paula’s dad
