Is Diwan from Kitchen Nightmares still open?

Gordon Ramsay and the Kitchen Nightmares crew conclude season 8 in New York, where Diwan, an Indian restaurant, needs all the help it can get to stay in business. Oh, and it certainly doesn’t help that a Mexican restaurant is also running from the same kitchen. Yeah, they saved the most complicated challenge for last!

As always, Chef Gordon Ramsay gives it his all to ensure the business he is helping is set up for success long after he is gone. That said, it’s all up to the restaurant owners and their staff to keep up with all they have learned. Unfortunately, this isn’t always easy and the business has no choice but to shut down.

We have done the research so you don’t have to, folks! In short, yes, the Indian restaurant is still open for business and doing amazingly. We not only searched their social media accounts, but gave them a ring, as well. Yelp continues to feature the restaurant’s raving reviews, and Diwan’s website is clean and simple. Unlike the first restaurant tonight (Max’s Bar and Grill), Diwan has easy-to-remember hours of operation, 11:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., every day. And while their menu does continue to feature many options, it’s not as many as before and they all make sense.
