It’s always hard when we see our favorite characters’ lives on the line. 911 season 8, episode 13 warns Hen fans that this is going to be a tough one.

The 118 is a team of firefighters. Even those that work the ambulance will end up running into burning buildings. And it’s not like being a paramedic is risk-free. They never know what they’re turning up to until they get there. So, it’s not out of the ordinary for Hen to put her life on the line in the line of duty.

Hen needs to save a man in crisis in 911 season 8, episode 13

This is a tough promo to watch, as it’s clear that the suspect is actually a man in a mental health crisis. Police just aren’t equipped with how to deal with that, and more often than not, the situation gets out of control. People in crisis are dangerous, but there is more of a focus on shooting rather than talking the person down, especially when it comes to hostages.

Hen doesn’t want that to happen. She wants to be able to help the suspect, who is also a victim. The problem is that once she gets on the bus, she isn’t getting off, and then she’s trapped with someone unstable and dangerous. The 118 can’t help her once she is on the bus, and she isn’t going to be able to get the stabbing victim off the bus all that easily.

We’re going into this episode knowing that something could happen to the 118’s fearless leader very soon. There are photos and videos going around of a funeral procession, and sure enough, it’s Bobby’s. Is it possible that the series will kill off the character after years of putting him in hair-raising situations only for him to get out with no marks on him?

We’ll also head back to Texas for some of the storyline. Eddie is about to confront his parents in a way to be a better father to his son. It’s likely that Eddie’s parents are encouraging Chris to stay with them for the wrong reasons, and it’s time for them to let their grandson be with his dad. This could open the door for Eddie’s return to the 118.
