The 118 save a kid down a pipe in 911 season 8, episode 6 (Preview)
If you feel like there’s a bit of déjà vu going on in 911 season 8, episode 6, that’s because there is. And the show makes note of that in the preview.
The 118 is called out to save a kid trapped down a pipe. This toddler has fallen down the pipe, and he’s so far down that there’s no way for the parents to pull him up. The last time this happened, Eddie went down the pipe to save the kid, but Bobby points out that Eddie is too big for this pipe.
There is someone small enough to fit down, but it’s not one of the 118. There’s a kid who is willing to risk himself to get to his brother. Can the 118 save them both, or will they end up with two kids trapped?
Old wounds are opened in 911 season 8, episode 6
Meanwhile, the 118 will end up with some old wounds opened. There’s a man in the middle of a divorce who may be held hostage. Or maybe he’s the one holding his wife hostage? It’s hard to know what is going on, but Maddie is calling the 118 out for potential elder abuse.
Who will this open old wounds for, though? Will it be Athena as she remembers Michael asking for a divorce? It’s more likely to be Eddie, who is still struggling with the loss of Christopher and his ex-wife. You see, while Eddie and Christopher’s mom started to get back together, she ended up asking for a divorce just before her death.
We’ve seen Eddie try to hide a lot of his pain this season, but it’s not been successful. This storyline could see it all come out, and it’s about time.
