911 season 9 episode 14 guest cast features Bayley Corman and Jake Short

If you're still reeling from last week's new episode of 911 season 9, you're not the only one. In episode 13, Buck and Eddie's road trip home from Nashville takes a turn for the worst when the end up in an accident and Buck gets kidnapped. With both of their lives on the line, it was a race against the clock to reunite, clear their names, and get themselves out of harm's way. Yikes!

While we hoped 911 season 9 episode 14, titled "D.I.Y.," would be a calmer episode after the wild whirlwind on the road, we're in for another intense hour that features Buck moving forward after the trauma he experienced during his kidnapping, something he tries to manage on his own. Meanwhile, May pursues a powerful next step in career and wants to do so without help from Athena.

But those aren't the only storylines that will have us on the edge of our seats. Based on the trailer for the episode, we also need to brace for an unbelievable case of a "killer house" and a shocking health scare for a member of Maddie's team at the call center. Sue has a stroke during work hours, forcing Maddie to jump in and help, while a couple played by familiar faces becomes the target of their home.

Bayley Corman, who previously appeared in two episodes of 911 season 8, returns to the series in 911 season 9 episode 14. While her character's name isn't known ahead of the episode's release on ABC, she's one half of a couple that finds themselves fighting back against their house when a D.I.Y. home improvement project seems to cause multiple life-threatening incidents.

Corman might look familiar as she has appeared in episodes of hit shows like Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, All American, Jane the Virgin, 2 Broke Girls, The Young and the Restless, Bel-Air, CSI: Vegas, and Running Point. She also appeared in 911 season 8 episodes 2 and 3 as a character named Tia, who was featured during the plane disaster arc. Tia's dog wasn't a fan of a male passenger.

It would definitely be interesting if the series brings Corman back to reprise her guest role from the previous season as it's rather rare for procedural dramas to feature a former guest star from a case-of-the-week for another case. If not, it's another instance of an actor or actress appearing twice in the same series as different characters. But Corman will also be joined by a Disney Channel star.

Jake Short plays the second half of the happy couple who are simply trying to complete a D.I.Y. project when their house revolts. Short's character's name also isn't available ahead of the episode's premiere, but in the trailer for the episode, he's seen falling off a ladder, end up with a wooden board nailed to his head, and getting electrocuted from merely toughing the fridge handle

Some viewers who grew up watching the Disney Channel in the 2010s will likely recognize Short from a number of the cable network's hit series. Short starred in A.N.T. Farm as Fletcher Quimby from 2011 to 2014, Mighty Med as Oliver from 2013 to 2015, and Lab Rats: Elite Force in 2026. He also starred in Hulu's All Night, BBC Two's The First Team, and Apple TV's Lessons in Chemistry.

While this is Short's first appearance in 911, he previously guest starred in another hit ABC drama series. He was seen in High Potential season 2 episode 5, titled "Content Warning," as the character Phineas Dougherty. Corman and Short might not be the only guest stars in this week's episode of 911, but we're definitely most excited to watch how their killer house storyline plays out!
