Firehouse 51 will have a problem at their own firehouse in Chicago Fire season 13, episode 14, and there isn’t a paramedic in sight!

The new episode will bring a few calls that will put the lifesaving abilities of Firehouse 51 to the test. With Ambo 61 out on another call, it means that the firefighters will need to do what they can to save the day. Meanwhile, Violet and Novak will race back to the firehouse to save another victim.

It all starts with a car crash in Chicago Fire season 13, episode 14

The new episode will bring us a car accident, that will see Violet and Novak needed for. There’s a victim in the car, and the two will need to get him to Med to be treated. This is a normal day at work for the whole of Firehouse 51, sadly. In fact, this is a normal day at work for real life firefighters. I can’t tell you the amount of car crashes there have been in my local area over the last month alone! Every day there is a big one!

With Violet and Novak out, it means that they can’t be called on for another emergency. The problem is they have an emergency at their own front door.

The trailer then cuts to someone being thrown out of a moving car. He’s been shot multiple times, and he’s bleeding out. Usually, it would mean that Ambo 61 could load him up and get him to the hospital, but that’s not the case with Violet and Novak returning from another call.

With them being six minutes out, the firefighters are worried that this man is going to bleed out before then. What options do they have? They can’t transport him in the fire trucks because they don’t have the life-saving equipment needed. It’s not save to transport in their own cars as there are all sorts of legal and insurance liabilities there.

It looks like Herrmann will be the one who needs to make a decision. As Captain, he outranks everyone except Pascal, but Pascal wants to encourage Herrmann to be a Chief. So, Pascal may step back and allow Herrmann to figure it out.
