There is a life on the line in Chicago Fire season 13, episode 15. Let’s take a look at what could happen.
This promo does not sit well with us at all! It opens with Chief Pascal making his way through the hospital to find Violet in tears shaking her head. It’s clear that someone’s life is on the line, but the big question is who that could be.
Can we just say that Violet cannot lose another person she loves. She has been through so much heartbreak already, so if it is someone she is closest with, this could wreck her completely.
Who could die in Chicago Fire season 13, episode 14?
There is a hint that it could be Kidd in the promo. As someone gets out of a car on a call and wanders around, Kidd has to rush toward him so he doesn’t get hit by a moving car. Only, it looks like Kidd could be the one who is hit by the car.
Kidd’s life has already been on the line once this season. She was stuck in the tunnel with Ruzek during the three-way crossover event. We saw how much it messed Severide up to know that his wife was stuck and there was nothing he could do. It’s highly unlikely that Kidd’s life will be put on the line once more.
With Violet being the one to deliver news, it suggests that it is someone she’s close to. There are a couple more likely suspects than Kidd. It’s potentially Ritter or Novak. Both of them have had some fairly big personal storylines recently with breakups and past relationships showing up.
It’s not Carver. He has gone off to get help for his alcoholism. So, unless he does something during that time, there’s no reason for Violet to be there and for the Chief to walk in.
It is possible that this is actually more personal for Chief Pascal. With the way he’s walking in from outside, is it possible that something happened to his wife? We know that he will spend the episode looking for the perfect anniversary gift. Is it possible that she was on her way to meet him for dinner and there was a car accident? Pascal is dressed as if he was going to dinner, so it certainly makes sense that this death is connected to him personally.
The problem for me is that Firehouse 51 have only met his wife once. They’re not close with her or Pascal in the way they were with Donna or other spouses of the firefighters. Violet’s tears don’t make a lot of sense unless there was some big moment just before the death.
