What’s wrong with the gym bros in Chicago Fire season 13, episode 17?
For Violet and Novak, they get a call to a local gym when a man passes out while pressing weights. Next time, he might want to follow the rule of having a spotter, because then he wouldn’t end up under the bar bell!
While that is initially concerning, the case gets even more concerning when the paramedics are called to a house where a man has a rash growing up his leg. There seems to be something to connect the two men — the flag in the gym and the emblem on the other man’s gym bag are of the same thing. Is this something from the past, or is there something dangerous going on that’s affecting former and current members of that gym?
Kidd connects to a troubled girl
While all this goes on, Kidd will get a chance to connect with a troubled kid. This girl wants to join Girls on Fire, so what’s holding her back? Could it be a home situation that is causing problems for her?
We know that Kidd and Severide are going through an adoption storyline right now. Is it possible that they’ll want to adopt an older teen instead of a baby or a younger child? Could this storyline lead to Kidd and Severide finding the girl they want to bring into their home to support?
