Chicago Med season 10 is starting its lengthy break (here's what we know)
Chicago Med season 10’s fall finale left us with our hearts in our mouths. That’s right; it was the fall finale, and that means there isn’t a new episode tonight, Wednesday, Nov. 27.
We would love to see what happens next right away, but NBC is making us wait. To be fair, this is a normal time to break the show. While in recent years, we’ve had one episode after the Thanksgiving break, before the pandemic, it was normal for the three One Chicago shows to go on a break the week before Thanksgiving. It looks like the network is getting back to that normalcy.
There isn’t a rerun on tonight, either. We’ll get a special to countdown to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in the first hour of the night. Then we’ll get an SNL Thanksgiving special taking up the final two hours of the primetime slot.
When will new episodes of Chicago Med return?
In some good news, the break isn’t too long—at least, not when you compare it to the TGIT break that’s coming up! We will get new episodes of Chicago Med season 10 on Wednesday, Jan. 8. The episode will air at 8 p.m. ET/PT as usual, leading into new episodes of Chicago Fire and Chicago PD.
This is going to be a difficult break, though. Goodwin’s life is on the line. She was able to use the distraction of Archer slipping his resignation letter under the door to get out of her office. However, it’s clear she’s made it to the hall too late. The elevator doors are closing on Archer as Goodwin rushes out.
Archer isn’t going to just let something happen, though. He will stop on the next floor that he can and rush to Goodwin’s aid. The question is whether it’s going to be in time or not. Goodwin will have lost a lot of blood already, and there’s still the knife fight that’s going on.
