Caution: This post contains SPOILERS from the Deal or No Deal Island season 2 finale.

I do think the series missed a beat with the promotion of this episode. Within just minutes, we’d get all the answers that we need. After all, the series has already revealed The Banker’s identity, and Joe Manganiello already spoiled that the winner walks away with the money.

Who is The Banker in Deal or No Deal Island season 2?

In case you missed the big reveal on social media, The Banker in Deal or No Deal Island season 2 was revealed in the week leading up to the finale. It turns out that Chrissy Teigen was The Banker in this season.

If the series is renewed, we can expect a new Banker. It looks like the series is going to change it each season, rather than opt for it to be an unknown entity like in the original series. It was only after the original series ended that Peter Abbay was named as The Banker, and then after the short-lived revival that we found out Carrie Lauren took on the role.

For those who don’t remember, Howie Mandel was The Banker in the first season of Deal or No Deal Island. He hosted the original series back in the day, and he is one of the executive producers on the series.

Tiegen does have a connection to the original series. She was one of the original Briefcase Models, as they were called then. They’re now known as The Banker’s Assistants.

Who won Deal or No Deal Island season 2?

So, who made it through to the final Temple? Did David manage to beat Lete’s closing amount from the end of the previous episode. That’s been the big question all night.

It ended up being David who won that last challenge and got to play The Banker.

Of course, there was always the chance that Manganiello wasn't quite telling the truth about the amount that David won. There was always that chance that he would take a deal only to find out that he did have the full $12m in his own case.

There was a point when David looked like he would take deals offered by The Banker. Most of us probably would have taken the deals, and people like Dr. Will, Dickson, and even Parv made it clear they would.

The final offer came through at $5.8m. With the $12m case still on the board, it was hard for David to decide what to do.

In the end, he took the deal. So, he didn't walk away with the $12m, but Manganiello didn't lie. David did walk away with the highest amount ever offered on Deal or No Deal ever.

What was in Case 18? Was it a good deal or a bad deal?

It was a good deal!
