It’s Wednesday night, and you know what that means. Another celebrity had to go home on The Masked Singer season 13, episode 5.

It was Ghostbusters Night on the series, and that meant a few Ghostbusters and scary clues. Mckenna Grace and Ernie Hudson both made some guest appearances — one of them in person — to deliver some clues for the remaining four Group B singers.
There were a few clues that helped to cement a couple of ideas. I’m sticking with my theory that James Van Der Beek is Griffin, based on Mckenna Grace saying she co-starred with the person under the mask and that he was a great dad on the set. Grace played Van Der Beek’s daughter in CSI: Cyber.
I also fully agree with Rita and Jenny that it’s Flavor Flav under the Space Ranger mask. I think many people figured that one out online during the first episode Space Ranger appeared.
Who went home in The Masked Singer season 13, episode 5?
Of course, one had to go home. With four talented singers, it was hard to pick who would go home. Sadly, it was Space Ranger, which was a surprise considering he is one of the strongest performers on the stage. It just shows how hard it is when up against so many great singers, but how the masks help to put every celebrity on an even playing field.
This did mean that we would find out who was under the mask. First, there was the Cracked the Case Clue Case as the “most important clue” of the season. That would allow the panelists to make their final guesses. In the case, we had a pair of sunglasses, and again, those sunglasses pointed right back to Flavor Flav.

So, who was under the mask? Ken still wanted to stick with his DJ Jazzy Jeff guess, which isn’t too bad if it wasn’t for so much more connecting to Flavor Flav.
Robin did think Tracey Morgan for the longest time, but he ended up switching to match Rita and Jenny — and the rest of us! The audience and Nick also agreed, but had Space Ranger managed to trick everyone? Could Ken be right?
Everyone but Ken got it right. Space Ranger was Flavor Flav.
