Love blooms for Connor in Georgie and Mandy's First Marriage season 1 episode 15, "Goddess of the Music Store," as he meets his potential soulmate. The episode was a sweet way to introduce a Connor storyline, and it worked well.

Caution: This post contains SPOILERS for Georgie and Mandy's First Marriage season 1, episode 15.

For all his quirky ways, Connor needs assistance in the romance department. Who does he turn to get advice from? His brother-in-law, Georgie, as Connor views him as the man with the perfect relationship and accepts Connor for who he is. Their bond is only growing more potent, and I'm loving it.

After Connor tells Georgie all about Chloe (in private), they head off to the music store where she works. Georgie watches his brother-in-law handle the situation rather well or "amazing." He and Chloe hit off, but I don't see why it wouldn't, as they have a lot in common. The core interest is music, but more will come to light as time goes on.

The lyrics Chloe wrote for Connor's song for her were wonderfully adjacent to the melody, and she couldn't have come up with better words. Connor's more than impressed; he's flat-out in love with this girl, and I can tell he's mentally planning a future through his expressions and body language. It's a nice thing to see, as it's beneficial for Connor to communicate with someone outside his family and adds to his character growth.

Chloe seems to like Connor as much as he likes her, so this makes me excited to see if there will be more to them in future episodes. Also, Chloe isn't Connor's first girlfriend, but he knows there's something unique about her.

The McAllisters have a hilarious response to Connor's relationship in Georgie and Mandy's First Marriage season 1 episode 15

While Connor might find it normal to have a relationship, his parents and sister think it's shocking. For one thing, Connor's nearly 30 and lives at home, so there's going to be unavoidable speculation, but Audrey got too involved with it, and Mandy treated the situation like some high school gossip.

For that, there are two explanations defining Mandy's immature behavior. One is that she probably didn't have that experience in high school, and she's now making up for it by getting the personal intel on her brother. The second explanation is that she might have another common ground to bond with Georgie, as he's closer to the high school age range than she is, so she's utilizing it to feel younger.

Yet, Mandy's adolescent approach also proves that despite being in her 30s, she's proving that she's more immature than her husband, who has been nothing but a solid rock and wise beyond his years during the show. Her behavior emphasizes Georgie's maturity and downplays her wants to be treated like an adult.

Jim's reactions to his son dating were normal, as normal as can be for a dad, and despite not having "The Talk," he did okay with raising his kids. As for Audrey, she was more concerned for Connor, as she didn't want him in the same situation as Mandy. Yet, she didn't have to treat him like a baby, as he's an adult capable of making his own choices.

What's relatable though, is that my parents didn't have "The Talk" with me and basically told me that I'll figure it out and use common sense. Which was true enough, as it wasn't as open as it is today and there's often a level of virtue ingrained in the conversations, which can be embarrassing.

Perhaps now, Audrey will take a step back and let Connor do his own thing, while being highly suspicious of Chloe.
