Is Bold and the Beautiful trying to walk back what Luna did? (Or is she plotting again?)

Luna Nozawa popped up on Friday, Nov. 8's episode of The Bold and the Beautiful and she was remorseful for killing Hollis and her biological father Tom in her desperate desire to hold onto a life with billionaire Bill Spencer. Her mother Poppy listened to what she had to say when she came to visit her in prison, but she had her own piece to say as well. Remember, Luna tried to frame Poppy for the crimes she committed so she could have Bill all to herself.

The excuse Luna gave her mom was that she experienced temporary insanity. She said she isn't sure what happened, that a switch flipped inside of her and she's trying to figure out herself how she could have taken two people's lives like she did. But the contrite look on Luna's face seemed to disappear after Poppy told her that she and Bill aren't together anymore. Luna went from being profusely apologetic to looking revived as if she'd received just the news she needed to hear.

Back in her cell, Luna looked pleased. It was unclear if it was because she got the information she wanted out of her mother or if she now thinks she has a chance with Bill. Interestingly, her assumption that he was still dating Poppy hadn't deterred Luna from sending him a letter apologizing for what she'd done and pleading for him to be in her life because she needs him. If that's the kind of correspondence she'd send thinking he's still involved with her mom, we may hate to see what she'll send now as it's doubtful she's going to stop at the one letter.

Bill burned her missive to him, but it also made him think of the family unit that he once had with her and Poppy. His mind flashed to Luna kissing him as well. He's aware that they can't get back to the joy they all had when they thought she was his daughter but Bill's kryptonite is loneliness. Being up in that big house with no one to share his life with may be the crack in the door Luna can slip in through.

With Sheila Carter choosing to not give into her darker impulses, and loving her life with Deacon Sharpe, The Bold and the Beautiful doesn't have a character wreaking havoc. Perhaps the writers intend to have Luna fill that role. Lisa Yamada sure can play it, that's for sure. But it's also possible that Luna really does have a flip that's switched whenever she fears losing something or a secret desire is within grasp.

If that's the case, we could be heading for a redemption arc so Yamada can stick around on the soap. But before the story can go down that path, it's likely Luna's going to cause some big, dramatic problems if she does win Bill to her side. As we head in the holidays that could be some must-watch television. Stay tuned to Hidden Remote for more coverage!
