There isn't a new episode of Fire Country on tonight (March 21, 2025)

Fire Country is taking a break for a couple of weeks. Here's when the series will be back.
“One Last Time” – Bode and Jake respond to a lighthouse rescue operation that turns into a mission to prevent a ship from crashing during an intense storm. Meanwhile, Eve investigates the origins of a flu outbreak at Three Rock, on FIRE COUNTRY, Friday, March 14 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs). Third Rock and the firefighters are needed for calls tonight, Friday, March 21. There isn’t a new episode of Fire Country on tonight, and there isn’t a rerun either.

We’re hitting a point in the schedule that we don’t all like when it comes to our favorite shows. Sports take over, and it means we have to wait until April for new episodes to air. At least there’s Paramount+ to be able to catch up on the series.

Why isn’t there a new episode of Fire Country on tonight?

The lack of new episode of Fire Country is due to March Madness. This is the time that college basketball takes over CBS on Thursdays and Fridays, meaning no episodes of all our favorite shows.

While it is bad news right now, it’s good news on the other side. A break now due to sports means fewer breaks in the schedule on the other side. There are plenty of episodes to get us through to May for finale week! It just doesn’t feel great at this point.

Coming in Hot
“Coming in Hot” – With the Chezem Valley fire blazing out of control, Bode and Audrey must find a way to save themselves; Manny risks his freedom for his missing daughter; and Eve tries to protect her father (Phil Morris) and their family’s ranch, on FIRE COUNTRY, Friday, Jan. 31 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode

When will Fire Country return with new episodes?

There is some good news. CBS has already set the return date for the firefighting series, and it’s early April. We only have to wait until Friday, April 4.

There are no details about what to expect when the series returns. This isn’t unusual, as CBS will want to build up to the details to get people excited for things to come.

There is a lot to cover when the series does return. Manny came down with the same sickness that killed Birch just an episode earlier. Once Eve learned that Manny was suffering from pesticide poisoning, the race was on to find out where the source was. It didn’t take too long to figure out that it came from the well, but now those at Station 42 and Third Rock will need to figure out how to fix this situation, as the senator is on the board of directors for the company dumping the chemicals and won’t care about Third Rock’s people.
