A Forrester is coming back to town on Bold and the Beautiful but why? (Speculation)
By Sabrina Reed
The murder mystery storyline on The Bold and the Beautiful is going well! So well that we can drop the 'mystery' part of the phrase because the Il Giardino Killer has been unmasked as Luna Nozawa and all that's left is for everyone else to become aware of this horrifying fact.
Steffy Forrester is already ahead of everybody. Her need to confront Luna after seeing her kiss Bill had her throwing caution to the wind and it resulted in the murderous intern throwing her boss into a cage and holding her hostage. No one knows that Steffy's missing because she'd told the people in her life that she's leaving town to clear her head after learning that Finn, her husband, was kissed by her rival, Hope.
There's no doubt that Jacqueline MacInnes Wood is sticking around on the soap, so Steffy will be found at some point. But, despite being given water and a couple granola bars by Luna, the Co-CEO isn't eating and will likely be quite dehydrated and starved when she's rescued. That's also assuming nothing else befalls her before she's saved.
After all Luna could change her mind and give Steffy a higher dose of the drug she used to kill Tom and Hollis before leaving her to die. Or consider she's providing a mercy to her boss by knocking her out once more hours before the apartment building is set to be demolished so she feels no pain. If that happens, Steffy will be in dire straits which makes the recent tease of a certain Forrester's return intriguing.
Bridget Forrester looks to be on her way back to Bold and the Beautiful
While it's not confirmed that Ashley Jones will be reprising the role of Dr. Bridget Forrester, the actress shared two reels on her Instagram of her on set. That's a pretty good sign we'll be seeing Brooke and Eric's daughter on the soap this fall.
Jones' first post was published the day after it was announced that Kaleo frontman Jökull Júliusson would be making a guest appearance as himself on The Bold and the Beautiful. He began filming on Aug. 19 and his episode is set to air on Sept. 27. It's possible that's around the time we see Bridget as well. Considering Júliusson will be singing "Way Down We Go" for the episode, I've speculated that his appearance will be tied to Il Giardino killer storyline.
Bridget is a doctor, even if she isn't called in to help on a possible medical emergency with Steffy triggered by her time held captive, she could be brought in to assist if someone else is harmed by Luna in the event the young woman isn't apprehended before the end of September. Or perhaps she'll be in town for Hope. Something isn't quite right with her little sister and the Logans may need every hand on deck to figure out if this is misplaced feelings, obsession, or something far more grave.
