Being a Disney+ subscriber can be a bundle of fun and sometimes, there are certain down weeks where we aren't getting much.

Considering how gloomy January has already been, it's no surprise we're finally getting a down week with Disney+. While that does happen occasionally, it's odd to see it happening so early in the year.

Regardless, there are still a handful of releases for us to talk about with the most notable being a new episode of Percy Jackson and the Olympians. The fans who have been waiting for this series are truly living their best lives at the moment. Given that I've read the first book, and I saw the preview for episode 6, I know a lot of people are looking forward to this one.

While this week's release list is a bit smaller than usual, you should be able to find something to watch or you might decide to start Percy's journey which takes him on a twisting ride into the mythical world.

Let me start off by saying that, aside from Percy Jackson, Disney+ is only releasing content on one day this week so all of these releases are coming out on Wednesday, Jan. 17. With that being said, we won't be getting any new content after that until next week so hopefully this will tide you over.

America's Funniest Home Videos: Global is releasing episodes from seasons 24, 25 and 26. If you're looking for something animated to watch, then you'll want to catch two episodes of The Ghost and Molly McGee. The platform is also adding episodes of Minnie's Bow-Toons: Camp Minnie. While the episodes are short, this is a great one to put on for the kids.

Getting into the final two releases, Disney+ is adding all of Siempre Fui Yo season 2 along with the next episode of Dragons of Wonderhatch. Given that there was a holiday at the beginning of the week, let's just say Disney+ is taking it slow after the holiday. No doubt the upcoming weeks will be littered with more releases than we know what to do with.
