At long last, ABC is giving fans a full slate of new TV starting this February! However, you may have to wait until spring to see some of your favorites returning! Here's a look at the full revised 2024 schedule! Like all networks, ABC was hit hard by the combined WGA/SAG strikes in the summer of 2023. It put off the planned season and fans had to wait until the SAG strike was settled in November to find out when shows would return
Naturally, comedies are coming back first as those are easier to produce. Dramas will be coming later, with Grey's Anatomy, Station 19 (which will be in its final season), and 911 coming over from Fox. So far, ABC hasn't announced any special premieres for April but will still have big events like the Academy Awards on Sunday, March 10. Also, the crime series High Potential is now being held back until the fall.
The highlights of the ABC schedule
Mondays have already kicked off with The Bachelor, followed by a special edition of 20/20. Tuesdays will start on Feb. 20 with the return of Will Trent, then The Rookie, and the final season of The Good Doctor. Wednesdays start a bit earlier on Feb. 7 with a comedy block of The Conners, Not Dead Yet, and the Emmy-winning Abbott Elementary. Thursdays are expected to be a mix of ABC Nightline and other programming until Grey's Anatomy, Station 19, and 911 premiere in March.
