Are wedding bells set to ring for Deacon Sharpe and Sheila Carter on Bold and the Beautiful?

We might be receiving a save the date soon, Bold fans. If the spoilers aren't misleading us, The Bold and the Beautiful looks to be putting Sheila Carter and Deacon Sharpe back on the path to be marriage. Remember, with a beautiful proposal at Il Giardino after hours, Deacon asked Sheila to make a life-long commitment together. However, their wedding plans stalled when they were met with backlash over their relationship.

The September episode seems so long ago now in the face of all the couple has been through recently. But what has remained true is that no one besides the two of them knew that they were engaged. In fact, Deacon told Sheila he wanted to table sharing the news they'd been sitting on because his relationship with his daughter, Hope Logan, was on the rocks. This, however, was before he nearly lost his lady love at the hands of her once friend, now deceased enemy, Sugar.

The experience has brought a change to the way Deacon moves when it comes to his romance with Sheila as evidenced in Monday, May 6's episode when he told her that he wasn't going to hide her from Hope. The cat was going to be out of the bag at some point and there was no use delaying it. Plus, now that he has her back, Deacon's already made it clear that he's not losing Sheila ever again.

The spoiler for Wednesday, May 8 states, "Deacon wants to take the next step in his relationship with Sheila," which has me thinking that their wedding plans are back on the table regardless of what his daughter, or anyone else for that matter, thinks about it. To be honest, it's about time! Deacon and Sheila are one of the strongest and most loving couples on The Bold and the Beautiful. They deserve a big day, however that might look like. Plus we know at least two people will be in attendance.

Finn told his birth mother that he has a second chance with her so he's certain to RSVP once he learns she's going to be tying the knot. It's incredibly doubtful his wife, Steffy Forrester, will be his +1 so that may leave Hope to be the second witness at the nuptials. She supported her father at Sheila's funeral, certainly she can put her feelings aside to stand up for him at his wedding especially if she knows Finn is going.

We'll see how things shake out but there could be another wedding on the horizon for the soap and, if so, it's going to be the talk of the town!
