For those waiting with bated breath for The Bold and the Beautiful to finally declare it was Sugar and not Sheila Carter that was killed by Steffy Forrester at the Cliff House, the moment has come! On Friday, Apr. 12's episode, Deacon went searching for clues regarding what happened to Sheila.

He'd spoken to her birth son, Finn, and didn't get anywhere other than being labeled delusional and grieving so hard that he must be hallucinating seeing ten toes and not nine during the cremation process. Deacon had even tried to tell Ridge Forrester, the designer who claims to be his friend but has a pretty funny way about going about friendship, but he wouldn't let him get started.

Ridge said that Deacon might light a candle in a small corner of his apartment, perhaps even sacrifice a frog every year on Sheila's birthday, but to the rest of them she's dead and then he left Il Giardino. Knowing what he saw and refusing to let it go, Deacon logged in to Sheila's computer to see if he could find a clue of some kind. He searched her emails and came up empty but then he saw that her text messages were synced to her laptop.

There was an unknown number and in that text thread he saw that Sheila had been contacted by a blast from her past. A woman soap fans know by the name of Sugar, who'd vowed revenge on Sheila after our favorite villainess convinced her to get plastic surgery to become her visual twin (Read the full story, here). Deacon, however, has no idea who she is, but he might be about to find out because Lauren Fenmore is set to make another appearance on The Bold and the Beautiful.

We'd recently seen Lauren pop by to see Eric. She spent her time talking to him, Donna Logan, and later Steffy about Sheila's death. As one of the infamous woman's victims, Lauren was glad to see her nemesis gone from this world. But she's going to get a rude awakening when she learns that Deacon believes sees alive and that whatever happened at the Cliff House involved Sugar and not Sheila.

Once word gets out that Deacon has a working theory for who died that night, this insistence that he's wrong is likely to evaporate and quickly. The soap's next move might be to turn this plot into a mystery leaving us to wonder just where in Los Angeles Sheila might be. I can't wait to find out what happens next.
