I think it's safe to say that everyone loves a fun spy-comedy with a side of action. And this is exactly what Argylle is. Kicking off the month of February, the Matthew Vaughn-directed and produced movie premieres in theaters on Friday, Feb. 2.

Argylle is a star-studded feature, with an ensemble cast that includes Henry Cavill, Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Rockwell, Bryan Cranston, Catherine O'Hara, Dua Lipa, John Cena, Samuel L. Jackon, and Ariana DeBose. Yeah! We were not joking when we said "star-studded." The movie follows Elly Conway (Bryce Dallas Howard), a successful spy novelist who writes about thrilling spy stories. This is a way for her to feel more adventurous when she is a shy introvert. Elly's life takes a sharp and crazy turn when Aidan (Rockwell), an undercover spy, saves her from being killed by a group of evil spies.

To Elly's surprise, Argylle, the main character in her stories, is a real-life secret agent. What Elly writes becomes a reality, which is a threat to some. Forces are out to get her, but some agents want to help. Overall, this seems like the perfect weekend feature to watch on the big screen. Unfortunately, Hidden Remote's movie expert screened Argylle ahead of time and gave it a less-than-stellar review.

I would read the review, first, to decide if the movie should be watched on the big-screen or not. After all, going to the movies these days can cost a pretty penny! That said, if you want to wait for the streaming release, please know it will be here sooner than later!

Argylle will soon be available to stream on Apple TV+

Argylle is distributed by Universal Pictures, and one of the production companies is Apple Original Films. This means that the movie will head to the Apple TV+ platform when it leaves theaters. As for when this will be, we're not sure of an exact date. Our best guess is anywhere from four to six weeks. Of course, as soon as we have an official date, we'll update this post so you are in the know.
